Mbappe linked with huge Real moveHas another major decision to makeDeadline set by playerWHAT HAPPENED?
Mbappe's contract has entered its final six months, meaning that he is free to negotiate with foreign clubs ahead of the summer transfer window. Speculation has thus continually swirled over the prospect of the striker finally making a long-mooted move to Spain with Real Madrid, but it now appears that he has set his own deadline. Spanish outlet reports that this will be some time in February, before the start of the Champions League last 16.

Mbappe has remained integral to PSG's plans this seasons and has been in electric form to boot. The 25-year-old has scored 22 goals in 23 games in all competitions.

His name is likely to remain firmly in the gossip pages for some time to come. Real will hope they are attached, too, to any stories about his future, although will be deterred by the fact his alleged deadline comes after the one they have reportedly set for mid-January.
